What we collect

When you create an account:

• Your email address and password. The password is stored scrambled (hashed) by our login provider — we never see it and cannot recover it.
• Your first name, if you give one during onboarding.

As you use the app:

• The path you picked, the sub-niches you said appealed to you, what you said is holding you back, how much time you have each week, and your seven-day goal.
• Your progress: which days you finished, your streak, and the proof you submit for each day (links, text, screenshots you paste in).
• What you build — product names, prices, page links and other details you enter as you go.
• Numbers you type into the Numbers page, and figures pulled from any store account you choose to connect.
• Messages you send to the AI coach.

We do not collect your date of birth, location, contacts, photos library, or any device identifiers for advertising. There is no advertising in Pathfinder and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.

Who else sees it

Pathfinder runs on four outside services. Each gets only what it needs:

• Supabase stores your account and everything above, and handles logging in.
• OpenAI generates your missions and coach replies. Your first name, chosen path, goal, obstacles and what you've built so far are sent with each request so the result is about you rather than generic. Don't put anything in the coach you wouldn't want leaving your device.
• Stripe handles payment if you upgrade to Pro. Card details go straight to Stripe — they never touch our servers and we never see them.
• Resend sends the emails you get from us.

What's kept on your device

Your path, progress, streak, and the details of what you're building are also stored in your browser so the app works quickly and keeps your place. Signing out erases all of it from that browser.

Deleting your account

Go to Settings and choose “Delete my account”. This immediately and permanently removes your login, your profile, your seven-day progress, your saved metrics, any connected store, and everything you built inside Pathfinder. It cannot be undone and we keep no backup copy of it afterwards.

Settings also has a “Download my data” button, which gives you a file containing everything we hold about you on our servers. You don't need to ask us for it and you don't need a reason.

Age

Pathfinder is built for teenagers, but it is not intended for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe someone under 13 has made an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Money

Pathfinder does not promise you will earn anything, and nothing in the app is financial advice. The trading path never tells you what to buy or sell — it only covers how to structure and track your own decisions.
