Pathfinder

Terms of use

Last updated 17 August 2026

These are the rules for using Pathfinder. Using the app means you agree to them. They're written plainly on purpose.

What Pathfinder is

Pathfinder gives you a seven-day plan for building a small business, generated by AI and personalised to what you tell it. It hands you finished work — messages, listings, templates, prices — for you to review and use.

It is a tool, not a guarantee. Whether anything you build earns money depends on you, your market, and a lot of things nobody controls.

No promises about money

Pathfinder does not promise you will make money, and no figure shown anywhere in the app is a prediction of what you will earn. Prices and examples are there to show you what similar things sell for, not what you will get.

Nothing in Pathfinder is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. The trading path never names an investment to buy or sell and never gives an entry price — it only covers how to structure, publish and score your own decisions. If you trade, you can lose money.

AI-generated content

Missions, coach replies and suggestions are generated by an AI model. It can be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken. Check anything that matters before you act on it, especially prices, platform rules and anything you send to another person.

Your responsibilities

  • Follow the rules of any platform you use through Pathfinder — Gumroad, Shopify, eBay, TikTok and the rest each have their own terms and age limits.
  • Don't use Pathfinder to build anything illegal, deceptive, or designed to harm someone.
  • Anything you sell is yours to stand behind. Pathfinder isn't a party to it.
  • If you're under 18, check with a parent before spending money, signing up to a payment service, or selling to strangers.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from Settings, and doing so removes your data permanently.

Pro

Pro is a paid upgrade handled by Stripe. If something goes wrong with a payment, email us and we'll sort it out.

What you own

Anything you create using Pathfinder — your product, your listings, your templates, your copy — is yours. We claim no ownership of it.

Ending things

You can stop using Pathfinder whenever you like. We can close accounts that break these terms. Pathfinder is provided as-is, and we're not liable for losses arising from using it.
